Attendance Sheet Filters

The Attendance sheet filter is a powerful tool that allows you to see specific information on the Attendance Sheet. You will notice all of the different filters on the top of the Attendance sheet next to "Show Payroll Cycle" and "Show Tardiness".

You also have the option of viewing the data on the Attendance Sheet by either the Date or by the Employee ID Number. You have the option of selecting the date and view all employees' data for that date, or you have the option of select a specific Employee ID number to view all of the data for just that one employee. This filter system allows you to view the exact information you are looking to get.

You have the option of selecting the date to view all employees?data for that date, or you have the option of select a specific Employee ID number to view all of the data for just that one employee, then filter out which specific data you want to see (next to "Show Tardiness"). This filter system allows you to view the exact information you are looking to get.

The following is information on the filters:

The "Late-in" filter will allow you to see which employee(s) came in late compared to the time that is set for them to clock In on their clocking schedule.

The "Early-out" filter will allow you to see which employee(s) clocked out earlier than the time that is set on their clocking schedule.

The "Extended Break" filter will allow you to see which employees took a longer lunch than the amount of time they're normally supposed to take.

The "Miss Punch" filter will show you will employees that have missed a punch for the date you are you viewing.

If an employee missed a punched, it will only show you the punch the employee has made so far. If the employee did not miss a punch, you will not see any data on the Attendance sheet.

The "Overtime" filter will allow you to see any employee that has received Overtime. If an employee did not receive overtime, the employee will not show on the Attendance Sheet.

The "Differential Overtime" filter will allow you to see any employee that has received differential overtime. Differential overtime is usually considered "Double time".

The "Work/OT Totals" filter will only show you employees that have received a total amount of hours worked. If an employee has not received a total work time, they will not show with this filter. This is a great filter to use to view all employees that have clocked In and Out for a specific day if you have a large list of employees.

The "On Leave" filter will show any employees that have taken a leave. A leave can consist of sick day, personal day, holiday, vacation, etc.

The "Absent" filter will show any employee that has not clocked in or out. This is a good filter to use if you need to quickly see which employee has not clocked in for the day.

The "Short Minute" filter will show you the difference between the time your employee clocked in and the time they're supposed to clock in according to their clocking schedule.

The "Select Schedule" filter allows you to see specific employees on a specific schedule.

The "Select Department" filter will allow you to see specific employees that are assigned to specific departments.

The "Totals" filter will show you the total amount of hours worked of all of your employees?total hours together.

The "Original Clocking" filter allows you to see the original punch that was made by an employee. This is a great filter to use if you have rounding rules set on your clocking schedule. If you have rounding rules set, you can use the "Original Clocking" filter to see the actual time the employee punched in. If you remove the "Original Clocking" filter, you only see the data that is adjusted by the rounding rules you made. There is another filter under the "Employee ID" field.

If you check that check box under the "Employee ID" field, the software will show you how many employees are "Present", how many are "On Leave", and how many are "Absent" for that day. This is another powerful filter that can be used to quickly get information on how many employees have clocked in already for that day, instead of having to go down the list and checking one by one.

Other filters such as the "Show Payroll Cycle" filters will allow you to see data within specific dates according to your payroll cycle. If your payroll cycle is weekly, you can filter the Attendance sheet to show only the weekly data. The "Last Payroll Cycle" will only allow you to view the data for the previous payroll cycle (In other words, it will show you last week's data if your payroll cycle is set to Weekly).
